A SNOOKER star landed a massive £147,000 bonus for becoming the first player in history to make TWO 147s in the same match.

Jackson Page took on Allan Taylor in Snooker World Championship qualifying in Sheffield.

The Welshman, 23, breezed to a comfortable 10-2 win.

And incredibly, two of those ten frames were perfect 147 breaks.

He nailed the first maximum to move 7-1 in front and the second sealed the victory in style.

Not only is it the first time in snooker history that someone has produced the stunning feat.

But it also takes the total tally of maximums in 2024-25 to 14 – a new record a single season.

World No35 Page is guaranteed the £147k bonus for his 72 perfect pots.

However, Action could bag an extra £25,000 in additional World Championship bonuses – including £15k for the highest break.

Unsurprisingly, his heroic achievement went down a storm on social media.

One said: “Wow! Unbelievable.”

Another wrote: “Forget the golf! Jackson making two 147s in one match should be front Page news. Nice slice of history for the young lad.”

TV star Richard Osman added: “Wow, two 147s in the same match from Jackson Page. Incredible. He’ll have to share the high-break prize with himself though.”

And a final user commented: “Deserves to be at the crucible for that alone.”
