GOBSMACKED Luke Littler has revealed the touching message from his latest victim after reaching the Darts World Championship final aged 16.

The Warrington whizkid had “no words” for his own “crazy” achievement as he claimed he was so shocked – but did explain what Rob Cross told him.

Littler averaged an incredible 106.05 in his 6-2 semi-final crushing of the 2018 world champ.

He hit 16 maximums of 180, also recording finishes of 149, 142 and 132.

Yet Luke the Nuke insisted he entered the tournament at the Ally Palace “happy winning one game”.

Instead he has smashed all sorts of records – having been the youngest player to reach the last 16, let alone Wednesday’s final.

Asked on Sky Sports Darts what words Cross had used to congratulate him, Littler replied: “He just said, ‘God bless, I respect you. Do it’.”

But the Kebab Kid struggled to explain his Ally Pally fairytale.

He said: “No words. It’s amazing. It’s crazy – crazy to reach the final on my World Championship debut.

“I was happy winning one game but I could go all the way.

“My target was to come back and spend Christmas with the family. Now I’ve done it, made the final.”

However, Littler denied his performance was as “effortless” as his calm demeanour and awesome throwing made it look.

He said: “No, no. Playing Rob who won on his World Championship debut. I can’t say words.”

But he did eventually admit: “I’ve settled on that stage. It takes me a few legs to do that but once I’ve found my rhythm I’m good to go.”
