A SUPERCOMPUTER has predicted the final Premier League table following Everton’s shock 10-point deduction.

The Toffees dropped down to 19th in the table on Friday after being hit with the huge points deduction for breaching profit and sustainability rules.

An official Premier League statement read: “An independent commission has imposed an immediate deduction of 10 points on Everton FC for a breach of the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules (PSRs).

“The Premier League issued a complaint against the club and referred the case to an independent commission earlier this year. During the proceedings, the club admitted it was in breach of the PSRs for the period ending Season 2021/22 but the extent of the breach remained in dispute.

“Following a five-day hearing last month, the commission determined that Everton FC’s PSR calculation for the relevant period resulted in a loss of £124.5million, as contended by the Premier League, which exceeded the threshold of £105million permitted under the PSRs.

“The commission concluded that a sporting sanction in the form of a 10-point deduction should be imposed. That sanction has immediate effect.”

Everton are now planning to appeal the “unjust” decision.

However, if the Toffees are unsuccessful they face a far greater risk of relegation from England’s top tier.

Bettingexpert’s supercomputer BETSiE has determined whether or not Sean Dyche‘s side will face the drop at the end of the campaign.

And fortunately for Evertonians, they are expected to stay up.

The supercomputer predicts the Toffees to finish 17th in the Premier League table, above Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United.

They are also expected to end the season seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Burnley are predicted to finish in 18th, with Luton 19th and Sheffield United rock bottom.

At the other end of the table, Manchester City are set to win the title again with Arsenal falling short for the second successive season.

Liverpool and Newcastle finish the supercomputer-generated top four with Aston Villa fifth, Tottenham sixth and Chelsea seventh.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are expected to drop all the way down to eighth in what could be one of their worst-ever Prem campaigns.

EVERTON CHAOS

Following the points deduction, fans are speculating how badly Man City and Chelsea, who are also facing questions over their finances, could be punished if found guilty.

Some have even joked City could drop into the NATIONAL LEAGUE, however the club deny any wrongdoing.

With the Toffees now facing a relegation scrap, some of their top stars could be considering jumping ship.

Everton points deduction

EVERTON have become the first Premier League team to be deducted points for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations for profit and sustainability.

The Toffees’ ten-point hit comes after an independent Commission determined Everton recorded losses of £124.5million as per Premier League regulation calculations over the three years up to 2021-22 – exceeding the permitted £105m limit.

The Goodison Park club have posted financial deficits for five years in a row.

Manchester City are fighting 115 charges of FFP breaches put forward by the Premier League last season.

Only two clubs in Premier League history have been docked points.

Middlesbrough saw three points deducted in 1996-97 for failing to fulfil a fixture against Blackburn.

In March 2010, Portsmouth had nine points stripped for entering administration.

Both Middlesbrough and Portsmouth were relegated following their respective points punishments.

The ten-point deduction drops Everton to 19th in the Premier League table, level on four points with bottom-club Burnley.
