And interest in the competition is hotting up now a host of Premier League sides are set to kick off their respective bids to win the trophy.

The third round gets underway tonight with an all-Prem tie between Crystal Palace and Everton.

The pick of the fixtures is undoubtedly Sunday’s clash between title-chasing Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates.

A mouthwatering North East derby between old rivals Sunderland and Newcastle – the first in nearly eight years – is the second standout tie of the round.

Footie fans up and down and the country will also be keen to see if non-league Maidstone United can continue their fairytale journey against Stevenage.

And OLBG‘s supercomputer has predicted The Stones to dump the League One side in a massive giant-killing.

Their algorithm has also tipped Sunderland to do a number on struggling Newcastle at the Stadium of Light.

And Arsenal are expected to progress through to the fourth round with a win over Premier League table toppers Liverpool.
