The Red Devils are enduring a rocky season under Erik ten Hag despite spending big in the summer.

They splashed millions on Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Andre Onana before crashing out of the Champions League group stage.

And United are faring little better in the Premier League, winning 10 of their 21 matches so far while losing nine.

The Old Trafford side have also managed to score just 24 goals — putting them on level terms with teams fighting for relegation.

And although United are not predicted to end up battling the drop, a boffin supercomputer reckons they will finish in their lowest-ever Prem position.

Courtesy of brainiacs at OLBG, the omniscient android says United will end up settling in 11th place.

They will lose more matches than they will win at 17 to 15.

And the Red Devils are also predicted to end up with a goal difference of MINUS 10.

United’s final tally of 51 points will see them finish a staggering 36 points behind eventual champions City — tipped to win a historic fourth consecutive title under Pep Guardiola.

The current Treble holders will apparently edge out Liverpool by just three points.

Third place is set to go to Arsenal, who will end up seven points behind City.

And Aston Villa are tipped to take the final Champions League spot ahead of Tottenham.

The second Europa League place then goes to West Ham, while Chelsea are backed for a return to continental competition in the Europa Conference League.

Newcastle, Brighton and Wolves make up the rest of the top half of the table.

And after United in 11th place, teams like Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth take up their places.

Everton are tipped to survive relegation after being docked 10 points earlier this season, with Crystal Palace also safe.

And it’s Brentford who narrowly avoid the drop by the skin of their teeth, finishing just one point above 18th-place Luton.

Burnley are backed to come second-last, while Sheffield United finish rock-bottom with just four wins and a minus 51 goal difference.
