And in her first appearance at the All England Club since tying the knot, she hopes memories of her wedding can inspire her to glory on the famous lawns of SW19.

That is because Kostyuk has taken inspiration from her wedding dress – also made by Wilson – to design her bold outfit for the 2024 Championships.

Of course, kits at Wimbledon must be all white – just like the traditional colour for wedding dresses.

So Kostyuk teamed up with her sponsors and suppliers Wilson to create the unique number, a stunning piece which features a cut-out back and beautiful dress.

And it appeared to bring some immediate success as Kostyuk.

The No18 seed defeated Rebecca Sramkova 6-3 6-2 on Monday to set up a round-two clash with Daria Saville.

And the gorgeous kit went down a storm with tennis fans on social media.

One said: “Stunning.”

A fourth typed: “This is actually so cool.”

A fifth posted: “I’m obsessed. The buttons!!”

A sixth replied: “So happy with the work Wilson is putting into kits. Especially when it feels like the larger names have been lacking in making special custom pieces!”

Tennis stars’ new careers

PLENTY of tennis stars have stayed involved in the sport since retiring.

But others pursued very different careers. Here are some of the best…

And a final user commented: “Best kit of Wimbledon.”

Kostyuk is no stranger to a bold outfit – both on and off the court.

Her Wilson kit for 2023 went down a storm with fans and her green 2024 French Open number was crowned the winner of the Roland Garros fashion game.

And ahead of this year’s Championships, she even modelled topless in a Vogue photoshoot.

Now after finding her perfect match off the court in Hryhoriy, she will be desperate to produce her perfect game, set and match at Wimbledon 2024.
