She also overtook Emma Raducanu to become our new No1, following her run to the Surbiton Trophy semi-finals.

Her success at winning the Nottingham Open was her biggest achievement so far.

Katie believes it puts her in the best place possible ahead of the Australia Open.

“I’m really excited for next year, I’ve always got things to improve, but looking forward to getting out and competing and showing what I can do,” Boulter told The AO Show podcast.

“I’m working hard, working on my weaknesses and my strengths at the same time and I think I’m in the best place I could possibly be.”

Off the court, the 27-year-old from Leicester leads a glam lifestyle.

Back in 2018, the fashionista was touted as one for the future in a Vogue magazine piece.

She is a firm football fan, regularly sharing her love for the Three Lions and Leicester City on Instagram to her 163,000 followers.

Love is in the air too, as she’s been dating Australian men’s tennis star Alex de Minaur since 2020.

While success clearly runs in the family, as her brother works as an agent for United Talent – and has cut deals with the Jonas Brothers, Priyanka Chopra and model Ashley Graham.

She’s in fashion

Well, Vogue thought so.

It was more than five years ago, she posed in her sponsored Nike wear for a trendy photoshoot.

Following in the footsteps of Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams, she couldn’t be prouder fronting a campaign for the sportswear giant.

However, she admitted she also had a penchant for fancy designers.

She told Vogue: ” “It feels a little surreal because I remember seeing Serena and Maria Sharapova in the Nike campaigns when I was a junior player.

“I’m so proud to be in a campaign for my favourite brand. I practically live in Nike on and off the court – though when I do occasionally get dressed up I love wearing Burberry and Balmain.”

While she’s not afraid to spoil her mum, Sue with luxury items.

She once told the Evening Standard: “I bought my mum a Prada handbag at Christmas, she’d been eyeing it up for ages so it was a really nice moment that I was able to buy it for her.”

Football’s coming home

Boulter is a huge football fan. So big, in fact, she once declared if England got to a World Cup final, she would rather watch that over a Wimbledon men’s final.

Back in 2018, both events clashed – with sports fans having to choose between them.

Boulter revealed about the sporting clash: “I think I’ll go [with] an England football match, yeah, unless Jo-Ko [Jo Konta] is in the final.

“I think it’s a great chance [of England getting to the final].

“I’m looking forward to watching them. Hopefully they’re going to do well.”

As well as being a Three Lions devotee, regularly wearing the famous top and sharing the snaps on social media, she is a Leicester City fan.

And when time allows, she’s often spotted at the King Power Stadium with dad, David.

Loved up

Since 2020, Boulter has been in a romance with fellow tennis player Alex de Minaur.

The pair often put their adventures on social media together, and they are clearly very loved up.

Last year, they shared a smiling selfie as Boulter celebrated de Minaur’s birthday.

Before that, they posed for a snap outside the front doors of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

She captioned the photo: “Favourite person. Favourite club.”

While, when they celebrated their three-year anniversary, de Minaur posted a picture of Boulter on their night out and captioned it: “Happy 3 years,” along with a heart emoji.

He has admitted that she has been his support system on the tour.

“Oh, yeah, she’s amazing,” de Minaur once said.

“Yeah, I guess it’s the beauty of us being both in the same sport. We kind of understand each other.

“We know what to expect, how we can help each other in certain situations.”

Successful brother

Parents David and Sue Boulter definitely did something right.

Not only is there daughter an internationally successful tennis star, their son works for a Hollywood agency representing A-list stars.

James Boulter is a Endorsements and Voiceover Agent for United Talent, who are based in Beverly Hills.

He brings brands celebrities and brands together, most recently partnering Jessica Alba with French jeweller Chaumet and scoring a deal for Priyanka Chopra with Bulgari.

James also has friends in high places.

A quick look at his Instagram page shows snaps alongside supermodels Naomi Campbell and ex-One Direction star Liam Payne.

He also has time for his sister, too.

The pair posed for a snap at Wimbledon last year, with Katie joking she was happy to put sibling rivalry to one side.
