LUKE LITTLER has revealed the 24 hours after the World Darts Championship final changed his life.

The darts sensation missed out on the title but became the most famous teenager in the country with his Ally Pally exploits.

Luke Littler is in shock at how much his life has changedRex

Littler, 17, took the darts world by storm after beating the likes of Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross on his path to the final.

He received plenty of attention from fans on social media and from the press, with media outlets lining up to speak to the Warrington wonderkid.

Littler is still in shock over the whirlwind few weeks and admitted his life has been changed by the tournament.

He told SPORTbible: “I still just can’t believe it now.

“After watching the amount of World Championship finals that I’ve watched, obviously the runner-up stands there and lifts the trophy, then you watch the winner lift theirs. Honestly, I still can’t believe it.

“I just get on with whatever’s coming up, like Bahrain, Netherlands and the Premier League.

“But the next 24 hours did change my life. Loads of media, I went to Sky Sports’ headquarters, and it’s all been busy ever since.”

Littler has not let losing the final affect him and he has instead gone from strength to strength, winning the Bahrain Masters just a few weeks later.
