NINE Chelsea stars are set to be axed in order to balance the books at Stamford Bridge.
Todd Boehly and Clearlake are desperately trying to raise another £200m in the hope of avoiding a potential Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) penalty.

While the Blues have a knack for selling players for money than they’re worth – Mason Mount’s £60m move to Manchester United for example – they will have to offload far more this summer.
Chelsea have seen that the league’s PSR regulations have real teeth with the punishments dished out to Everton and Nottingham Forest and will have to do what they can to avoid a points deduction themselves.
Academy graduates represent “pure profit” when it comes to PSR and any sales would go a long way to helping Chelsea get some money in the bank to spend on new arrivals.

Conor Gallagher – £35m
Gallagher, 24, is set to return to Chelsea training after his £35million move to Atletico Madrid blew up in smoke.
Chelsea were hoping to sell their academy graduate and sign Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion – but the latter failed his medial in West London.
They turned to forward Joao Felix when that move crumbled but the Spanish side declared that all deals were off.

Chilwell cost Chelsea £50m when he arrived from Leicester in 2020 but his stock has plummeted since then.
So much so that Chelsea could be willing to move him on for around £20m this summer.
Chilwell was widely criticised by a section of the fanbase last season and found himself out injured a lot.

Lukaku’s last appearance for the club came back in May 2022 – four managers ago.
Th Belgium striker – who was loaned out to Inter Milan and Roma in the past two seasons – is under contract until June 2026.
But he has a bad relationship with Chelsea and is desperate to get out of there – even willing to take a wage cut at Napoli.
He is currently being considered in a swap deal move with Victor Osimhen, but Napoli also want cash and Cesare Casadei, on top of their £90m asking price.
Trevoh Chalobah – £25m
Chalobah has been at Chelsea since 2007 when he joined the club’s youth team at the age of eight.
But he has been exiled from Enzo Maresca’s plans ahead of the new season, and so finds himself training with the ‘bomb squad’ with Gallagher.
Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are said to be interested in the 25-year-old.

Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for a whopping £72m in 2018.
Kepa – who joined Real Madrid on loan last year – holds the record as the most expensive goalkeeper of all time.
Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic took turns in goal last season, and Filip Jorgensen has just arrived for £21m from Villarreal.

Carney Chukwuemeka – £25m

The 20-year-old has made 27 appearances since then but is not yet a first-team regular and Crystal Palace are interested.
Noni Madueke – £30m
Madueke has been linked with Newcastle in recent days, according to The Mail.
The winger joined from PSV in January 2023, ended last season as one of former boss Mauricio Pochettino’s key players.
Chelsea fans will want Noni Madueke to stay[/caption]David Datro Fofana – £15m
Fofana joined Chelsea from Molde in January last year for around £8m.
The 21-year-old played four times for the Blues before spending last season on loan at Union Berlin and then Burnley last season.
Armando Broja – £10m
Broja is another player who has effectively been frozen out by being excluded from the first-team circle.
The 22-year-old Albania forward has scored two goals in 26 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
It’s likely he will be shipped out this summer, with Stuttgart and Wolves both interested.
