The transfer now hinges on the player with Spurs waiting to find out his decision.

Personal terms are yet to be discussed with Sparktak Moscow, who came third in Russia last season.

Sanchez has been at Tottenham since 2017, joining from Ajax in a £42million deal.

He has played 205 games for the club, scoring five goals.

However, he made just eight Premier League starts last season after falling out of favour due to poor form.

New manager Ange Postecoglou is reportedly open to cashing in on the Colombian with his contract up next summer.

There has also been interest from Real Betis, Sevilla and Galatasaray.

Tottenham are already eyeing up replacements for Sanchez amid rumoured interest in several centre-backs.

The club could look to bring Clement Lenglet back on a permanent deal after a loan spell last season.

Bayer Leverkusen star Edmond Tapsoba, Wolsburg’s Micky van de Ven and Fulham ace Tosin Adarabioyo are also on Spurs’ radar.

And they could have plenty of cash to spend should Harry Kane leave with Bayern Munich keen.

Owner Joe Lewis has reportedly ordered his sale to ensure he won’t leave on a free in 12 months.

Tottenham have already signed Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison and Manor Solomon this summer.
