HUGHIE FURY put in a brilliant performance in a dominant victory over Christian Thun in Sheffield.

Tyson Fury‘s cousin made it three wins from three since making his boxing comeback earlier in April after two-and-a-half years out.

Fury, 30, got off to a great start as he hammered his German opponent with several body shots.

Then right on the bell, he cornered Thun and landed a powerful right hook.

It was much of the same in round two as Fury continued to be the aggressor – but the man nicknamed “Hurricane” stood strong and began to land his combinations.

The third round saw Hughie land two good uppercuts and a strong right hand as Thun continued to absorb the punches well.

Fury then took control and began to turn it on in the fourth as the constant body shorts seemed to finally take their toll as the 6ft 8in giant winced.

In the fifth of the eight round bout, Thun fought back but drew a response from the Brit with more strong body shots.

A big one-two from him pushed Thun onto the ropes in the sixth round, only for him to survive another onslaught.

Fury then smelt blood and tried to go for the knockout in the seventh – but despite his knees buckling, Thun continued to survive.

He went for the knockout at the end but had to settle for a win via a decision.

Fury won 78-76 – yet the score did not reflect his true dominance.

How rich are the Furys?

Tyson and Paris Fury have an estimated combined net worth over £70 million.

The bulk of this comes from Tyson’s heavyweight boxing paydays, most recently earning £80 million from his clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

Experts believe he has a whopping £300 million sitting in the bank, which is also thanks to the Fury family’s Netflix show and five book deals.

But mum-of-seven Paris proved she can take on the world after stepping down from Tyson’s company in August 2022 to focus on her own projects.

In just one year of flying solo, she raked in £180,000 from book and PR deals, and social media ads.

The couple live with their seven children in a £1.7 million mansion in Morecambe, Lancashire.
