The unbeaten champions collide on February 17 in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time all four heavyweight belts have been on the line.

But Fury has insisted despite the historic and monumental occasion, he will put no more than a month’s worth of training in for it.

In a leaked face to face with Usyk for TNT Sports, he said: “I train four or five weeks for these fights.

“Please, like I trained 12 weeks for Wilder and everybody else! Four or five weeks, how much training does a man need?

“Three or four weeks of sparring and one week of resting, done. We’ve been boxing for all of our lives since young boys, how much training do we need?

“I’m sure we aren’t going to forgot how to box and it’s not a fitness competition is it, so I don’t think you need anymore than five weeks.”

When asked to respond, Usyk, 36, replied: “I can keep on boxing non-stop for five weeks.”

Fury, 35, has since flown out to Saudi to prepare for his training camp.

He briefly had ex-IBF cruiserweight world champ Jai Opetaia, 28, in camp with him but the sparring only last five rounds.

Unbeaten 19-year-old Moses Itauma is also with Fury but the Gypsy King warned he has not brought anyone in to specifically mimic Usyk.

He said: “I’ll bring in some southpaw left-handed fighters for sparring obviously, just the same stuff as usual.

“What can you do for a fighter? Can’t do much for me or him. It’s a boxing match, if he’s better than me he will beat me.

“If I’m better than him, I’ll beat him and that’s it. No more or less to it.”
