Harrison will be welcomed to MMA‘s top promotion by former UFC women’s bantamweight queen Holly Holm.

Much of the intrigue surrounding the fight centred around Harrison’s massive weight cut.

The former PFL pounder has NEVER fought at bantamweight in her career, prompting concerns she’d miss the weight.

Those concerns increased when they got a glimpse of her looking somewhat gaunt during the pre-fight press conference.

And they went into overdrive after she successfully tipped the scales at the non-title-fight bantamweight limit of 136lbs.

One fan commented on X: “Might be time to bring 145 back gang.”

Another said: “Looks like she’s on death’s door. Jesus.”

And another said: “Way too dehydrated that’s crazy.”

One remarked: “[She] looks awful.”

Another chimed in: “That’s taken a lot out of her, her face is really withdrawn.

Harrison was well aware of the fears for her weight cut, which she allayed during fight week.

She said during the UFC 300 media day: “My weight is good, everything is dialled in,” a cool, calm and confident Harrison said.

“I have a superb team behind me – Eric Pena and the UFC PI have helping out.

“My chef and nutritionist Dara has been making ridiculously delicious meals.

“I’ve been disciplined, I’ve been dedicated and it’s going to show [on the scales].”
