He has won six of his seven fights, losing just once in a rematch to Israel Adesanya.

And Pereira has already held two belts, first gaining and losing the UFC Middleweight Championship before becoming UFC Light Heavyweight king in November.

But the Brazilian has now set a record for the most powerful punch ever recorded.

The high-tech machine, known as the ‘Power Cube’, measures the force of a hit in units.

It calculates a score based on numerous factors including strength and speed.

And the world record had previously been held by Ngannou, who recorded a score of 129,161 units in 2017.

At the time, Dana White compared it to being hit with the same force as a Ford Escort.

He said: “That’s equal to getting hit by a Ford Escort going as fast as it can.

“And it’s more powerful than a 12-pound sledgehammer from full force overhead. Holy s**t.”

Many have tried and failed to beat it, including former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall with a score of 113,999.

Ngannou’s record was eventually toppled by UFC star Joe Pyfer, who landed 170,218 units.

But Pereira has now become the Power Cube champion with an amazing score of 191,796.

That means he hits even harder than a Ford Escort at full speed.

However, another UFC star could fancy having a go after setting a record on a boxing punch machine.

Heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall demolished Anthony Joshua’s record of 887 when he had a go on the arcade machine.

The Brit recorded an amazing score of 942 when he tried his luck in November.

And the Power Cube test will surely have to be taken by Aspinall to add another string to his bow.
