EX-PREMIER League star Enner Valencia was almost attacked by a fan after missing a penalty in a Brazilian Cup match.
The lout ran on the field to attack the former Everton and West Ham man after he missed a spot-kick for Internacional in their Copa do Brasil clash with Juventude.

And the Ecuador international’s miss prompted an irate Internacional fan to run onto the pitch to try to attack him.
Two Juventude players stopped the hooligan from getting to Valencia by dragging him to the ground.
But he eventually got back to his feet and went for Valencia a second time.
The yob, however, was eventually subdued once and for all after being put on his backside by Juventude’s Alan Ruschel.
Ruschel – a survivor of the Chapecoense aeroplane crash of 2016 – flattened the would-be-attacker with a peach of a right hand before being dragged away.
The referee didn’t take kindly to Ruschel’s actions after seeing the replays and issued him a straight red card.
After the attacker was finally taken away, the referee ordered the spot kick to be taken again due to encroachment from one of Juventude’s players.

Alan Ruschel was shown a straight red card for his knockout blow[/caption]Valencia didn’t make any mistake at the second time of asking, cooly slotting the ball home.
Valencia’s strike reduced the Internacional’s arrears to two goals as Juventude had won the first leg 2-0 and were leading the second 1-0.
Vitao further reduced the deficit with a stoppage-time strike but it wasn’t enough as the visitors were dumped out of the tournament.
Neither Internacional nor Valencia have issued a statement on the unfortunate fan incident.
