THIS is the terrifying moment a giant blimp hired by a major football team crashed into a row of houses in a failed PR stunt.
Shocking footage shows onlookers screaming in horror as they watched the Sao Paulo FC airship plummet in the neighbourhood of Osasco.

One woman could be heard saying: “Oh my heavenly God, it’s going to fall. Oh my God, look at this. It fell on top of the houses.
“Everybody is running across the street, look!”
The Brazilian giants were performing a test flight ahead of their Copa Libertadores quarter-final clash against Botafogo.
The blimp featured the team’s badge on each side, with the messages “Fans who lead”, and, “Let’s Go Sao Paulo”.
It was travelling from the nearby municipality of Carapicuiba when it crashed just after 12pm local time, the fire department said.
The pilot was reportedly rescued from the cabin in time and rushed to a local hospital.
Authorities have not yet confirmed if anyone was inside their homes when at the time of the accident.
Officials have since launched a probe into the cause of the crash.
Sao Paulo FC meanwhile confirmed that there were thankfully “no serious injuries” following the flopped marketing move.
The club also vowed to give all the “necessary support” to the crew and all of those involved in the ordeal.
It said in a statement: “The aircraft was undergoing a test this morning in preparation for the night flight, previously authorised by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), which was scheduled for the stadium region.
“The Club informs that, fortunately, there were no serious injuries and is providing all necessary support to the crew and others involved.”
The Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center added that it is using the necessary techniques and equipment to gather necessary information for the probe.
