WOLVES produced an incredible video to announce the signing of Brazilian star Pedro Lima that “savaged” both Chelsea and a renowned transfer guru.
The Premier League side had a busy Tuesday as they unveiled TWO new recruits for Gary O’Neill.
Wolves confirmed the signing of Brazilian ace Pedro Lima in brilliant fashion[/caption] They took a shot at Fabrizio Romano and Chelsea in their transfer announcement video[/caption]They firstly revealed that Celta Vigo’s Norwegian forward Jorgen Strand Larsen, 24, on a season-long loan with the view to a future £23m transfer.
But that was followed by the news that Sport Recife teen ace Lima was also heading to Molineux.
It was reported by Fabrizio Romano back in June that “Chelsea verbally” agreed to sign the 17-year-old right-back.
He also stated a “key detail” in the agreement involved French club Strasbourg, who would get him on loan.
However, Wolves star Matheus Cunha, who grew up in the same Brazilian city, then got to work.
The 25-year-old Brazilian international spoke directly to Lima and convinced him to snub the Blues and head to the Midlands instead.
Wolves released a video to announce his signing that was led by Cunha.
And it involved a shot of a computer screen showing Romano’s post regarding Chelsea from June 12.

Cunha then clicks on it and mutes updates while laughing before the clip shows a contract with a Wolves badge and Lima’s name on it.
The new boy then enters the room and sits down as the pair enjoy a warm embrace.
And after watching the video, Wolves fans did not take long to reply.
One wrote on X: “Wolves taking a piss on Chelsea and Fabrizio Romano.”
Along with a laughing emoji, another post read: “What an announcement video.”
A third said: “Even as a Chelsea fan I have to say that announcement is class.”
While a fourth added: “If we’re as good on the pitch this season as we are on socials, we’re winning the lot.”
Wolves sporting director said after securing the star’s signature: “I’m really happy we’ve been able to add Pedro to the first-team squad.
“There was lots of competition for him, but we’ve been working on bringing him to Wolves for a while now, and he’s fully invested in our project.
“He’s a person with huge ambition, but Gary and the coaches know where he wants to get to and they will be working with him – like they do all our players – to be better and improve.
“He has a massive desire to be the best player he can be and we’re going to help him meet his goals.
“Through his attitude, through his work on the pitch, his work in the gym and the way he looks after himself, I expect him to be really competitive and push the players who might be ahead of him at the moment, but in Nelson (Semedo), I think there’s no better right-back for him to learn from.”
Wolves have already signed fellow full-back Rodrigo Gomes while Tommy Doyle’s loan from Man City has been made permanent.
