Wayne Rooney breaks silence on boxing fight after talks with KSI’s Misfits and reveals plans to return to management

WAYNE ROONEY has broken his silence on entering the boxing ring.

The Manchester United legend had been tipped to try his hands at boxing after talks with Misfits Boxing.

Wayne Rooney wants to get back into management[/caption]

However, Rooney has now insisted that he is focused on returning to football management.

He told The Overlap: “They’ve been in touch and asked the question but I think at the minute I want to focus on getting back into management.

“There’s a few, obviously Misfits have been in, and that’s been all over the news.

“But I want to get back into management, that is my focus.”
