WAYNE ROONEY and his family were given the VIP treatment as they attended Manchester United’s game against Tottenham.

The Red Devils legend was sacked from his job at Birmingham earlier this month.

But on Sunday Rooney was seen in attendance at Old Trafford as he watched Man Utd draw 2-2 with Tottenham.

Rooney, 38, was in attendance at the stadium with wife Coleen, 37, and kids Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven and Cass, five.

And while at the Theatre of Dreams, Rooney and co were able to meet viral star Abdu Rozik and teen darts sensation Luke Littler.

Taking to Instagram on Monday morning, Rooney posted a photo of himself and his family alongside social media star Rozik by the pitch.

Hasbulla rival Rozik, who stands at 3ft 2in, could be seen posing with his thumb up and his arm around Cass.

Cass proved to be the centre of attention again he was also snapped standing with 16-year-old Littler.

Littler was invited to the game as a guest of the club following his remarkable run to the final of the PDC Darts World Championship, where he was defeated by world No1 Luke Humphries.

Rooney and Littler share common ground in both erupting onto the world stage at the age of 16, with Rooney famously belting in a goal against Arsenal for Everton.

He starred at Man Utd for 13 years, completing his club trophy cabinet including five Premier League titles, four League Cups, the Champions League, Europa League, Fifa Club World Cup and FA Cup.

Having retired from football in 2021, Rooney has gone on to manage Derby and D.C. United before his Birmingham appointment.

The Championship club followed this up with John O’Shea departing the Blues over the weekend.

Rooney was in the directors box for Sunday’s game at Old Trafford, which was also attended by new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The Ineos billionaire’s 25 per cent takeover of the club worth £1.03billion is set to be confirmed in mid February after the Premier League perform their obligatory checks.
