He has featured just twice in the Premier League, but did score last time out in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.

According to South London Press, Palace are plotting a Deadline Day swoop for Cornet.

The former Lyon and Burnley ace could provide Roy Hodgson with another forward option.

While they are also said to view Cornet as versatile enough to provide cover for Tyrick Mitchell at left-back.

Cornet first moved to the Premier League in 2021 when he joined Burnley from Lyon.

He scored nine goals in 28 appearances for the Clarets but was unable to prevent their relegation to the Championship.

The attacker subsequently joined West Ham, but has struggled to make an impact at London Stadium.

Cornet has appeared 31 times in all competitions, with his strike at Bramall Lane his only goal for the club.
