CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL is just around the corner and there will be some famous faces from the sporting world in attendance.
Legendary football manager Harry Redknapp will be present once again looking to land a huge payday.
The former Tottenham and West Ham gaffer ventured into racehorse ownership 35 years ago with friends from AFC Bournemouth, who he was managing at the time.
He’s not the only legendary football manager that will be at Cheltenham, with Sir Alex Ferguson set to have runners at this year’s festival yet again.
But which horses will Redknapp run and what races are they in?
What are the horses Harry Redknapp is running at Cheltenham Festival?
Redknapp will run Shakem Up’Arry in the Cheltenham Ultima Handicap Chase at 2.50pm on the opening day of the festival.
The 10-year-old bay gelding will also race in the TrustATrader Plate Handicap Chase on Thursday at 4:10pm.
The name Shakem Up’Arry has an amusing origin story, Redknapp explained: “I used to have a guy stand behind me at West Ham when I was manager.
“For 90 minutes, he’d shout right behind my dugout, ‘shake ’em up, ‘Arry, shake ’em up, ‘Arry’.
“I used to come home on Saturday night after the game and all I could hear was this guy’s voice, ‘shake ’em up ‘Arry’.
“So I thought, when I get a horse, I’ve got to call it Shakem Up’Arry.”
Redknapp will run The Jukebox Man, which is expected to compete in the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle (Wednesday 13) and the Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle (Friday 15).
Bowtogreatness is also set to run for the former Premier League gaffer in the Amateur Jockeys’ Novices’ Chase (Tuesday 5.30) and the Challenge Cup Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Chase (Thursday 5.30).
