Anthony Gordon scored the winner with it awarded after a lengthy VAR check.

Officials in Stockley Park came to the conclusion after looking to see if the ball had gone out of play, then whether there was a foul on Gabriel and if the goalscorer was offside.

Arteta fumed over what he and the club deemed was three howlers by the referees.

He later slammed the decisions that went against his side as a “disgrace” and said that refs should be “ashamed”.

After the final whistle, the Mirror report that Arteta and his players went into the dressing room and many received messages showing the VAR controversy.

The boss then supposedly got one of his analysts to replay the incidents so he could show the players what he felt was an injustice.

He also reminded his players that despite defeat, he was proud of their performance and that they did well enough to earn a good point on the road.

Arteta then burst out of the dressing room for his post-match interviews as his rants begun.
