THE Europa League quarter and semi-final draw is set for the end of the week – as many sides hope to avoid drawing against favourites Liverpool.
The Reds comfortably swept away Sparta Praha 5-1 away from home in the first leg with their place in the quarter-final all but secured.
Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez now has 16 goals in all competitions this season after scoring a brace in Prague.
However, the other British clubs still in the competition still have plenty of work to do heading into the second leg of the last-16 on Thursday night.
West Ham will look to turn the tie around as they host Freiburg on March 14, after struggling to a 1-0 defeat in the first leg against the German side.
Brighton look to be all but out of the competition as Roma head to the Amex Stadium for the return leg on March 14, holding a 4-0 lead on aggregate over the Seagulls.
It was better news for Rangers, however, who earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Benfica in Portugal.
