TAYLOR Swift is the latest pop star to be swept off her feet by an athlete.
The Anti-Hero songstress has brought even more eyes to the NFL after striking up a romance with Kansas City Chief’s Travis Kelce.

But, Taylor isn’t the first musician to have fallen in love with a sports star.
This group have, with some continuing to go the distance.
David and Victoria Beckham
Not just the most famous crossover, probably the most successful.
The Beckhams met in the 90s, when David was a rising star at Manchester United and Victoria was dominating the charts with the Spice Girls.
They got married in 1999, survived a marital scandal with Rebecca Loos’ alleged affair, and have continued to thrive with their careers – with Becks owning Inter Miami and Victoria boasting a successful fashion label.
Their romance even played out in a recent Netflix documentary, where a meme of the pair kidding around over what car Victoria was driven to school in showing they’re still very much in sync.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez
Movie and pop star Jennifer and baseball great Alex seemed like a match in the heaven.
Both uber successful, both incredibly wealthy and good-looking.
For four years from 2017, they were one of America’s most famous couples.
They got engaged, but split in 2021 – with Rodriguez having nothing but nice things to say.
The NY Yankees legend even said: “She’s the most talented human being.”

The Russian tennis beauty and the Spanish crooner met in 2001 on the set of his video for ‘Escape.’
She played his love interest, which soon became a reality.
He said of the moment: “The “Escape” music video changed my life] in ways that I didn’t even think about.
“When we met — although she came from the sports world — we kind of got each other. We just started connecting little by little and got stronger and stronger and stronger.”
They are not married, but have three children together.

Gerard Pique and Shakira
Unfortunately, their romance woes have now played out for the world to see – with allegations of infidelity rocking their (what seemed) tight marriage.
They were together from 2011 until 2022, but have since been in a bitter spat after he left the Colombian stunner for younger woman, Clara Chai Marti.
Shakira even released a diss track aimed at the Barcelona legend – alluding to an affair in the music video for her single Te Felicito.
According to ShowNews Today, Shakira worked out Pique was cheating after spotting a tiny clue in their fridge.
She reportedly returned home from a period of travelling to find a jar of strawberry jam in their fridge had been eaten – with her evidence being neither her, Pique or their two sons like the stuff.
In the promo for her song she can be seen opening a fridge, so the plot thickens.

Another relationship where infidelity tore a marriage apart.
They met in 2004, fell head over heels for one another, before marrying in a lavish ceremony that secured a £1million deal with OK! magazine just two years later.
However, cracks began to appear in 2008 when the ex-Arsenal and Chelsea star was accused of sleeping with hairdresser Aimee Walton.
The Girls Aloud singer was distraught, but dumped him in 2010 after reports claimed he cheated on her with four other women, including one of those he allegedly paid £10,000 to silence her.
But, it goes some way in showing how much they think of one another because they have remained close.
Ashley among the first to text her when she split from second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2016.
She has also messaged congratulations on the birth of both his kids, as well as his marriage to Italian model Sharon Canu.

The Fancy singer and baller were then cover stars for GQ, swiftly moving in together LA, before announcing their engagement.

Then, she revealed she ended their relationship after reviewing CCTV footage at their home and making a grim discovery.
She wrote on social media: “I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage.”
Around the same time, US magazines reported that Young was expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend, Keonna Green.

She was a pin-up for the lad’s mags of the era, and won the charms of ex-Liverpool footballer Jamie Redknapp.

However, their nineteen-year marriage surprisingly ended in 2017, following her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
They have remained amicable, while moving on.
The Sky Sports pundit has since found love with Frida Andersson, who he married in 2021.
