Tuchel’s appointment is set to be announced as a news conference on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the BBC, Lee Carsley is set to remain as manager for the last two Nations League games against Greece and Republic of Ireland in November.
It’s also been said that Tuchel will officially take up his post as England boss on January 1, 2025.
His first match in charge will be in March when the first international break of 2025 takes place.
It’s not yet known who England will play in March, but there’ll be two friendlies, with one of those games likely to be held at Wembley Stadium.
Tuchel’s contract is set to be 18 months long, which will take him to the World Cup 2026 in USA, Canada and Mexico.
