It’s no surprise to see Manchester City’s top goalscorers on the podium as Pep Guardiola’s side have had the most success in the Champions League of the four English teams this term.

Haaland missed out on the bulk of the European returns prior to Gameweek 9 but a 17-point haul at the expense of Young Boys restored normal order.

Alvarez claimed 21 of his 33 Champions League points in one fell swoop against Red Star – two goals, five shots on target, 90 minutes played, two tackles and three bonus points.

Manchester United face an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages having lost to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray despite their Danish forward scoring three goals across those two fixtures.

Hojlund is yet to score in the Premier League but he has looked sharp in Europe – Dream Team bosses will need to see more from him domestically before they consider him a viable option.

City’s tricky Belgian completes the top five having plundered 24 points despite playing just 136 minutes in the Champions League this season.

Doku has proven in quick time that he doesn’t need to start every game to mix it with Dream Team’s top midfielders.

At this stage, Burn is Newcastle’s continental king having held firm under pressure at San Siro and scored in that dream win over PSG at St James’ Park in Gameweek 7.

Eddie Howe’s side were largely outplayed by both Milan and Borussia Dortmund; how they go against the Bundesliga giants later today will give Dream Team bosses a clearer picture of the Magpies’ future fortunes in Europe.

The main conclusion from this exercise is that Man City are the team to back when searching for Champions League points.
