Very little about when Gary Anderson and Rachel Ford met or started dating has been reported.
Multiple outlets state that they had “been together for several years” before they tied the knot.
Gary and Rachel got married in January 2022.
The darts legend, nicknamed “The Flying Scotsman”, initially invited guests under the guise of his delayed 51st birthday party.
But those who attended the celebration were shocked to find that the couple had in fact tied the knot.
While the location of the wedding reception was kept secret, Gary broke the news to the world by sharing snaps of him and his blushing bride in her dress.
He captioned them on X/Twitter with: “That’s it the old ball & chain now @fordey180 thanks to everyone that made the party last night hope you enjoyed it!”
Former world champion Adrian Lewis was among the first to respond to the good news, commenting: “Huge congratulations to you both.”
Retired darts pro Jamie Caven also replied: “Congrats to you both! Love from myself and @CavenDebbie.”
