MANCHESTER UNITED host Liverpool at Old Trafford this afternoon and a new name has appeared on the team sheet.
Youngster Harry Amass has been included in the Red Devils’ matchday squad for the first time in his career – SunSport has the lowdown on the scarlet.
Who is Harry Amass?
Harry Amass is a 17-year-old left-back who joined Man Utd from Watford last summer.
Amass signed a professional deal with the club in March upon turning 17.
The youngster is also an England youth international, having made five appearances for the Three Lions Under-17 side.
Amass has made 14 appearances for Man Utd‘s Under-18s in the U18 Premier League so far this season and has starred in the FA Youth Cup as well as the Uefa Youth League.
The 17-year-old will be hoping he can be the 250th academy player to feature for the first team, with the next graduate set to claim the accolade.
Amass’ opportunity comes after a major defensive injury crisis, leaving Man Utd without a recognised senior left back.
Erik ten Hag is also without FOUR senior centre-backs for the clash with Liverpool.
