Who is Rob Cross’ wife Georgia?

Georgia Cross is the wife of professional darts player Rob Cross.

The pair are thought to have been childhood sweethearts and have been together since they were 17 in 2008.

They first met in January 2008 when Rob went into the pet shop where Georgia worked as a 16-year-old Saturday girl.

The couple’s first date was unsurprisingly playing darts, where Rob is sure to have impressed his future wife.

Previously speaking to The Mirror, Georgia said: “We just clicked and it was obvious very quickly how sweet and caring he was.

“The first time we met up he bought us a bag of chips to share and we just talked for a couple of hours and ate them.

“He was already into darts and I soon knew how obsessed he was.”

It’s not known what Georgia’s career is away from her husband’s sporting job.

However, the pair have quite the life together as it has been reported that they have a net worth of an estimated £545,750 between them.

When did Rob and Georgia Cross get married and do they have children?

Georgia and Rob tied the knot back in 2011.

They are proud parents to Leyton, and daughters Imogen, and Madison.

In 2017, Ross posted a snap on Christmas Day of himself with Georgia and their three children on X wishing all his supporters “a Merry Xmas”.

He said: “I actually gave up playing darts for three years after my little boy was born.

“I was 20 when he came along, and then I started just playing down at the pub again, until my uncle half forced me to go to Norwich to play the qualifiers, in the Rileys, and it was just sort of life changing.”

Who is Rob Cross?

Rob Cross is a professional darts player from Hastings in East Sussex.

He found his passion for the sport when he was just a teenager – starting to play when he was 15-years-old.

He began by playing local league darts in Kent.

The first teams Cross played for were The Swan in Edenbridge and The Fountain in Cowden.

Cross worked as an electrician before giving this up in 2016 to pursue his darts career full-time.

Despite rising to fame, he said that this ultimately won’t change him.

He told The Mirror: “I’m quite adamant it won’t change me as a person.

“I think if I did get carried away with it I’d get complacent, and then it would be all over before you knew it.

“I’ve got a good backing behind me with my management team, and my family are all down to earth.”

Cross became known in the darts world 2017 when he reached the final of two European Tour events.

He then won the PDC World Championship at the end of the year.

Now he is in the 2024 Premier League for the first time since 2021.

As of January 2024, he has ten dart tournament titles.

These include:

  • World Matchplay 2019
  • European Championship 2019
  • European Championship 2021
  • Players Championship (Barnsley) 2017
  • Players Championship (Dublin) 2017
  • Players Championship (Milton Keynes) 2017
