England and France are both level with six points in second, while Scotland and Italy are close behind on five and four points.

Wales are the only side not to pick up a victory in this year’s tournament, but with a new head coach, could they end their 14-match winless streak in the next round of games?

Why are there no Six Nations games this weekend?

The Six Nations goes into the first rest week of the tournament this weekend, which is why there are no fixtures.

The men’s Six Nations currently operates on a 2-1-2 format, so there will be two weeks of action, which goes like this:

  • Two weeks of matches.
  • One week of rest.
  • One week of matches.
  • One week of rest.
  • Two weeks of matches.

The break has allowed sides to change their setups, as Wales have seen a coach change, with Warren Gatland leaving, being replaced by Matt Sherratt.

Breaks are used to give the players a rest, as the Six Nations comes in the middle of the club season.
