Littler looks dead set on surpassing a whopping £1million in prize money by the end of the year.

Some huge events are still to come, with the Hungarian Darts Trophy up next in the frantic darts calendar.

But Littler will not be competing in BudapestSunSport has the reason why.

Why has Luke Littler withdrawn from the Hungarian Darts Trophy?

Luke Littler was set to compete in the 11th European Tour event this week in Budapest.

But on Thursday, when the PDC revealed the draw for the opening two rounds of the Hungarian Darts Trophy, the teenage sensation’s name was absent.

This is because Littler decided to take the weekend off and stay away from the Oche with many events coming up in a hectic calendar.

In the last week, the 17-year-old has played in three tournaments – and he took home the trophy in two.

Littler won the World Series Finals in his maiden year and also claimed the Players Championship 20 title in Wigan on Tuesday.

After pulling out of the Hungarian Darts Trophy, the Premier League Darts champ is set to return to action at Players Championship 22 in Leicester next week.
