LADY Gaga fans were left fuming over a major tech blunder during her highly anticipated Paris Olympics opening performance.
The global superstar appeared to be experiencing sound issues which viewers felt affected her elaborate performance on the banks of the River Seine.

Gaga, 38, performed the track “Mon Truc en Plume”, a circus song that is well known in France, for the country’s kickoff of the games.
She sported a black corset, hotpants and matching gloves, while dancers also dressed in all black surrounded her with pink and white feathers.
After moving around the golden staircase and stage, the performer – real name Stefani Germanotta – took to her famous piano.
But many watching at home were disappointed that they couldn’t hear the vocal powerhouse properly, slamming the broadcast’s audio.
Taking to X, formerly twitter, one vented: Great performance from Lady Gaga. Shame the French forgot to do a sound check beforehand.”
A second agreed: “Lady Gaga performing to no large audience in a stadium but on a platform next to the river. The sound is awful, sound just getting lost in the vast open space rather than being reverberated around a stadium.”
A third fumed: “This is rather underwhelming. Dull boats, dull background and the sound quality of Lady Gaga’s act wasn’t great.”
Meanwhile a fourth screamed: “Lady Gaga is doing her best, but the sound is dreadful. This sounds like somebody has filmed it on their phone. Why is the audio so bad?”
And a fifth weighed in, also slamming the staging.
Seven bizarre moments you might have missed from the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony
PARIS 2024’s epic four-hour long Opening Ceremony provided some spectacular, X-rated… and downright bizarre moments.
Here are some of SunSport’s highlights.
Lady Gaga wowed the crowd by the River Seine as sang a cabaret set… in FRENCH.
But it didn’t go to plan for one poor dancer who FELL OFF the stage.
Fans watching on TV were left in stitches by some of the dad dancing on show.
And one dancer gave a BILLION fans viewing worldwide far more than they bargained for with an Inbetweeners-style X-rated wardrobe mishap.
In the UK, BBC viewers were all switching over to Eurosport when they found out who was hosting.
Fans were stunned to see a forgotten Premier League winner as his nation’s flag-bearer on the Seine procession.
While some viewers were worried Serena Williams was going to THROW UP during a very choppy boat ride with the Olympic torch.
They posted: On what planet did they decide to put lady gaga on some old steps with non existent sound, no lighting, no screens?”
It comes as UK viewers also slammed the coverage on the BBC, which kicked off at 5.45pm but including 45 minutes of studio chat to start with.
Fans weren’t happy that Gabby Logan wasn’t there alongside Clare Balding.
And others claimed the design of the studio was distracting with an unusual table taking up most of the space in the room.
