The former Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco striker has been wearing a snazzy tricolour mask in training ahead of this evening’s match with the Dutch.
But he won’t be permitted to wear in the mouthwatering clash.
That’s because Uefa rules state masks worn in matches must be a single colour.
An excerpt of the rules and regulations handbook states: “Medical equipment worn on the playing field must be of a single colour and must not allow the team or manufacturer to be identified”.
Mbappe, however, won’t be scrambling for a new mask as he has several singled-coloured protectors that comply with the regulations.
The 2018 World Cup winner joked about needing recommendations for masks minutes after France‘s narrow 1-0 win over Austria.
He wrote on X: “Any ideas for masks?”

It’s not clear if Mbappe will lead the line against the Oranje, although France boss Didier Deschamp has suggested he could feature.
He said: “Everything is going in the right direction after this major shock with the consequences.
“Yesterday he went out, he did a little activity. This will also be the case this evening.
“Things are moving in the right direction to ensure that he is available tomorrow.”
