MANCHESTER UNITED may have had their transfer plans scuppered by a decision entirely out of their hands.
Bayern Munich have announced that they will be parting ways with manager Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.

Tuchel’s side are currently eight points off top spot with Xabi Alonso‘s Bayer Leverkusen leading the way.
And the German’s exit from the Bavarians could mean that Man Utd fail to land one of their top transfer targets.
Mathys Tel has been on the radar of the Red Devils with the 18-year-old forward impressing for Bayern Munich.
But a potential exit from the Allianz Arena will now be dependant on who comes in to replace Tuchel.
Reports have suggested United have “made contact” with Tel, but that the French teen is keen to fight for his position.
However, Fabrizio Romano has claimed a departure from the German giants would have been “likely” had Tuchel remained in charge.
Instead it will now depend on the thoughts of any incoming manager with Tel said to be looking for guarantees over game time.

The France U21 international has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season, scoring six goals and registering four assists in the process.
Man United are looking for attacking reinforcements with Tel a versatile player who can play anywhere across the front line for Erik ten Hag’s side.
And his age helps the Manchester club stick to their reported new transfer strategy which will see the club identify talent based on data and shift their focus to younger players.
