However, in uncommon scenes, the match has been suspended and it is still unclear if it will go ahead.

Officials cannot resume the match until it is completely deemed safe to do so.

But if not, the FA have to decide whether they end the match with the current result or if it needs to be replayed.

Wolves would progress if they end the match with the current 2-0 score line.

However, West Brom will be hoping that they can play out the last 13 minutes.

What happened in West Brom vs Wolves?

Police were forced to intervene as chaos broke out in one corner of the Hawthorns – minutes after Matheus Cunha had put Wolves 2-0 up.

Supporters poured onto the pitch as security attempted to defuse a melee in the Birmingham Road End.

The game was suspended and both sets of players were taken off the pitch.

And the disruption caused a lengthy delay as police and security personnel attempted to solve the matter.

It is up to the safety team to determine whether the match can be restarted.
