FULHAM are reportedly hoping to hijack Wolves’ move to sign Armando Broja.

The Chelsea striker has been wanted by a host of Premier League clubs this month.

Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Armando BrojaGetty

Broja, 22, has struggled to cement himself at Stamford Bridge this season.

The Albanian has only appeared in 13 league games, scoring once.

Despite this form, clubs such as Wolves and Aston Villa have been interested in his signature.

The Telegraph have now claimed that Broja has been made Marco Silva’s “preferred choice” for Fulham to sign before the window shuts.

The Portuguese manager is said to be hoping that Broja can fill the void left by Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian left the Cottagers in the summer as he moved to Saudi outfit Al-Hilal in the summer window.

The Blues are believed to be asking for £50million for the striker and have already rejected a bid from Wolves.

The West London side are open to selling him to ease any FFP concerns.

Broja excelled when he had regular game time during a loan spell at Southampton for the 2021/22 season.

The striker bagged nine goals in 38 appearances for the Saints.

Meanwhile, Chelsea transfer target Victor Osimhen has recently revealed that he will make the move to the Premier League “one day”.

Broja is not the only academy product that Chelsea could cash in on, as Trevoh Chalobah could also be axed.

The defender has been linked with moves to West Ham, Nottingham Forest and LaLiga giants Atletico Madrid.
