Sweeting was a leg up in the battle as the two men locked horns in a thrilling second leg.

There was plenty at stake as they ended up going 2-2.

And Sweeting needed 194 to bag the second leg, which would put him on the verge of reaching the next stage.

To the delight of the crowd, he then hit a brilliant 180.

Sweeting was absolutely chuffed, but he took things up to a new level when he performed Chelsea star Palmer’s ‘cold’ celebration on stage.

The 180 also saw Sweeting earn a £1,000 donation from the World Darts Championship for Prostate Cancer UK.

But he was unable to hit the double seven needed to secure the leg.

Instead, De Graaf battled back to eventually secure a 3-1 win.
