THE World Darts Championship is looming as we count down to Ally Pally – but first things first we’ve got the draw!

Last year’s winner Luke Humphries and finalist Luke Littler will find out their fate in the big draw coming up.

The tournament will mark a whirlwind 12 months for teenage superstar Littler, 17.

Entering the event as a 16-year-old wonderkid who had just won the World Youth Darts Championship, Littler has since won ELEVEN events including the Premier League and boosted his prize money balance to over £1million.

And Littler said after winning the Grand Slam of Darts he is still aiming to improve on his world ranking of 5th before the start of the Worlds.

Littler said: “I knew coming into the tournament if I did get my hands on the trophy I’d be up to No 5 in the world. But No5 in the space of 12 months. There’s another two more rankings tournaments to come. I hope I can go higher from five.”

Now all eyes will be fixed on the draw for Ally Pally, with a field of 96 players to do battle for the Sid Waddell Trophy.
