When is a tiebreaker required in the World Darts Championship final and when is sudden death played?

The huge World Darts Championship final between Luke Littler and Luke Humphries will be best-of-13 sets.

This means that the first player to win seven sets will lift the prestigious Sid Waddell trophy.

Should the match reach 6-6, the final set will be a tie-breaker and must be won by two clear legs.

If the final set reaches 5-5 in legs, a sudden-death leg would be required – and the resulting winner would be crowned world champion.
