THE World Indoor Bowls Championships 2024 are underway at the Potters holiday park in Hopton on Sea.

In 2023, English qualifier Jamie Walker pulled off a huge shock to become the first unseeded open singles champion in 17 years.

In the women’s, Katherine Rednall was victorious, extending her record to five World Indoor Bowls Championships titles.

The pairs title went to English duo Nick Brett and Greg Harlow, while Wales’ Ceri Ann Glen and Scotland’s Steward Anderson claimed the mixed pairs trophy.
