The couple, who have been married for 11 years, already share two children together.

In October, they excitedly announced that they were expecting a third – with a cute snap of the family at a pumpkin patch.

Sadly just a few weeks later, Alexandra broke the news that they had unfortunately lost their unborn baby girl.

In a heart-wrenching post, she said: “Unfortunately we have lost our unborn baby girl. Personally we don’t want to talk right now, share too much, and don’t want to pick it apart.

“There is no right way to deal with these things, only the way you choose to.

“Our hearts are exhausted and talking isn’t going to change anything or bring her back.

“We hope that enough people see this to prevent us having to have this painful conversation in person.

“Right now we are taking some time alone to recover. Thank you for understanding,

“Alex and Eddie.”

Alexandra previously opened up on her struggles to have a baby.

The mum-of-two bravely told how she suffered multiple miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies in the 10-year gap between having her son Maximus and birthing her daughter in June this year.

Eddie Hall crowned World’s Strongest Man in 2017, becoming the first British winner for 24 years.
