The World Senior Darts Championship is upon us and will see some of the best players go head to head.
Whoever finds themselves victorious will also be taking a pretty penny home with them.

The darts player who is crowned the winner of the 2024 World Senior Darts Championship will also be awarded tens of thousands of pounds.
The winner will receive a huge £30,000 while the runner-up will be given £13,000.
Overall, there is a total prize fund of £80,000 for the event.
The people who lose the semi-final games will get £4,500 as the losers of the quarterfinals are given £2,000.
The losers of the last 16 will get £1,000 each and the losers of the last 32 will get £750.

World Senior Darts Championship schedule
The World Seniors Darts Championship is scheduled from Thursday, February 15 to Sunday, February 18, 2024 at darts temple Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
The field of competitors consists of 32 players, including 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, Martin Adams, John Part and defending champion Robert Thornton.

The competition will be available to watch from Thursday evening onwards on the BBC Red Button and also BBC iPlayer.

On all days of play, there will be an afternoon session and an evening session.
Defending champion Robert Thornton will play on Friday afternoon where he will go up against Martyn Turner in the first round of the competition.
