DARTS fans are in for a treat as the World Seniors Darts Championships is BACK – and English legend Phil Taylor will be in action once again.
Taylor, 63, retired as the most successful player in the sport’s history in November 2023.
Phil Taylor has won 16 World Chmapionships[/caption]He explained: “It’s hard work now at my age. My grandson Matthew doesn’t want me to retire. He wants me to carry on forever.
However, Taylor revealed that he wants to keep competing for another 12 months as he looks to embark on an Elton John-style Farewell Tour.
And the darts sensation will be hoping to secure the World Seniors Championship as his 46-year career comes to a close.
But Taylor has a hatful of talent to get past, including Robert Thornton who currently holds the crown after beating Richie Howson in a thrilling 2023 final.
