THE World Seniors Matchplay Darts has now sadly come to an end – and the title has a NEW home.
Leonard Gates claimed his third consecutive World Seniors event by beating Scottish star Jim McEwan 9-6 in last year’s thrilling final.
Phil Taylor has withdrawn from the World Seniors[/caption]And the American ace was determined to retain his title in front of what has been a packed York Barbican venue.
However it never quite worked out that way.
Phil Taylor did not participate after withdrawing due to medical advice.
