JURGEN KLOPP wants the departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to be fast-tracked — so he can splurge £80million on replacing them.

Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, 19, and 23-year-old Crystal Palace ace Cheick Doucoure are his top targets.

And he wants to get both for £40m each.

But the Reds boss has already spent £100m to bring in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai so he wants to be certain of the funds Henderson and Fabinho, 29, will bring in.

Henderson, 33, left the Reds’ German training HQ yesterday to finalise his shock £700,000-a-week, £12m move to Al-Ettifaq.

And Fabinho is jumping on the Saudi get-rich-quick bandwagon with a £40m transfer to Al-Ittihad.

Klopp has already released James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita as he rebuilds his ageing midfield.

But owners FSG are renowned for strict budget control so Klopp has to be sure the cash is coming in.

Klopp said: “In the end, all of these decisions are made by me.

“And because I respect the players a lot, it’s usually with consent.

“It was in this case, and it is all fine.”

He then added: “We don’t have to talk about it.

“There will be a moment where we probably have to talk about it, but it’s not now.”
