GLEISON BREMER could swap the Old Lady for Old Trafford – but not until next year.
That’s due to a reported £43million exit clause in the Brazil centre-back’s contract.
Man Utd target Gleison Bremer has a release clause for 2025[/caption] Jarrad Branthwaite is rated United’s other main defensive target[/caption]Juventus‘ star man, 27, is rated Manchester United’s top transfer target in defence – along with Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.
And Gazzetta dello Sport say he only renewed his last deal until 2028 with an agreement he could move in 2025.
Bremer could even be sold before that – but only under the “right conditions” which are likely to include a fee of over £60m.
Juve would love to keep such a consistent, stand-out performer.
Bremer’s stature has grown ever more since arriving at the Allianz Stadium in 2022 following four impressive years with Torino.
However, it’s understood Juve can only force him to stay beyond 2025 if they hand him a hefty pay rise.
The Italian giants agreed his exit clause to help bring overall costs down.
Bremer has hinted he is keen for a Premier League move at some stage.
But two years ago he chose Juventus over Tottenham.
Nonetheless, he would come far cheaper for United than Branthwaite.
The Everton hero, 21, is understood to be valued at around £80m after breaking into the senior England squad this year.
The Red Devils are also said to be monitoring Boca Juniors’ Aaron Anselmino, 18, and 19-year-old Mikayil Faye at Barcelona B.
