Scottish Grand National 2024: Start time, TV channel, FREE live stream and runners for HUGE race

THE Scottish Grand National will take place THIS WEEKEND as fans gear up for one of the biggest meets in the racing calendar.

Last year, Kitty’s Light won the big one in Ayr – handing a second consecutive win to trainer Christian Williams.

Racing legend Willie Mullins is looking to make history by claiming the British trainers’ title after I Am Maximus romped to victory in the Grand National at Aintree last weekend.

I Am Maximus secured the huge £500,000 prize – taking Mullins ahead of rivals Dan Skelton and Paul Nicholls in the Trainers’ Championship table with two weeks to go.

Should the 67-year-old triumph in Scotland, he would become only the second Irish trainer to win the jumps championship after Vincent O’Brien, who secured the accolade for a second time 70 years ago.

When is the Scottish Grand National?

• The Scottish Grand National will take place on Saturday, April 20.
• The race is expected to start at 3.35pm BST.
